About Us

The official registration of our company in November 2017 brought to culmination a long and passionate desire by our co-founder, Brian to industrialise the honey sector in Cameroon. The idea behind BBW Honey Extracts Corporation Ltd came about from the time he spent as an intern at a major honey processor in the Netherlands.

Struck by the absence of any honey from his native Cameroon where there is honey aplenty, and the  professionalism with which operations were run, Brian saw opportunity. Opportunity not just for business, but business which will bring meaningful impact to the apicultural sector and value chain in Cameroon.

This idea however took on a greater dimension to not only produce and supply honey locally, but to extract and process all that  a beehive has to offer.  With Berton and Kiven joining as  co-founders we shifted focus to target beeswax exports. 

We have implemented proper beekeeping and hive product standards, and have HACCP plans covering beeswax production processes. This is setting a precedence for the local industry and setting us up as we progressively move to include Food and Pharma grade beeswax to the General technical and Cosmetic grades we produce.

BBW produces high quality honey and beeswax . Our focus is quality assurance of the products while working in close cooperation with our comb honey suppliers.We seek to be a profitable and industrialised modern honey and beeswax business in Cameroon while supplying our customers across the world.
